Jonathan Murphy (director) has already shot a version of this film in the Portuguese language and set in Brazil. This version was called 'Laura' and won many awards. It aired to great acclaim on the Globo-owned Canal Brasil film channel from 2017-2019, where it was part of scheduled programming and VOD. It starred Priscila Sol, Eucir De Souza, Vanessa Loes, Yoram BlauschKauer and Dani Guedes.
